My Homelab

Heres how it looks currently. (As of 7/26)

Current components:

• NETGEAR Nighthawk R7450 AC2600 Gigabit Router
• Cisco Catalyst 2960-XR-24TS Gigabit Switch
• Custom-Built Proxmox Server
• Raspberry Pi 3B PiHole DNS Server
• Lenovo ThinkCentre Backup Server (Backups for certain things on the Proxmox Server)

Custom-Built Proxmox Server

Specs:

Services:

• Tailscale Exit Node (Linux Container)
• Makes it so all my devices connected to my Tailscale VPN have access to my LAN, and therefore have access to all these services
• Vaultwarden Password Vault (Linux Container)
• Store and sync all my passwords across devices
• Todo List App (That I coded, here's the repository on my Github) (Linux Container)
• A simple todo list that any device on my LAN can access and make changes to
• FileBrowser Quantum File Server (Linux Container)
• A file server with a nice web interface that is accessible to any device on my LAN
• Immich Photo Storage (Linux Container)
• Contains all my photos from old phones etc. in one app accessible on my LAN
• Pulse System Monitor (Linux Container)
• A tool for monitoring CPU, RAM, Disk, and network usage for my whole server and each individual service, along with temperature monitoring
• Jellyfin Media Server (Linux Container)
• Stores and serves different types of media, can be movies, videos, music, and more on a nice web interface and has nice mobile apps on iOS/Android
• Minecraft Server (Ubuntu Server Virtual Machine)
  • A server for a Minecraft world that me and my Girlfriend can access either on my LAN or through my Tailscale VPN

Raspberry Pi 3B PiHole DNS Server

Details:

• OS: Raspberry Pi OS (Raspian)
• Running PiHole Software
• Functions as my network's DNS server
• Has a few local DNS records to make my homelab services easier to remember and access
• Provides network-wide ad blocking using domain filtering

Lenovo ThinkCentre M58P

Specs:

Services:

• Tailscale Exit Node
• Backup Tailscale exit node in case my LXC on my Proxmox server is down for whatever reason
• Backups
• Backups for Minecraft server world, Task list service, PiHole documentation, and other documentation
